Parking - not difficult Rye is a compact little town, only 600 yards across. There is plenty of parking in Rye although it is difficult to work it out for yourself when encountered first time car parking in Rye is easier and cheaper than it first appears.
Rye is on a hill and most parking is at the bottom although you can always drop off for unloading at the cottage. You can park anywhere in Rye, including East Street, if you can find a non yellow line place, from 6pm to 9am the following morning. The closest large public car park is Market Car park which costs only £1.50 per day and is easy to get to but difficult to find. We provide full instructions, suggestions and a map for parking in nearby public car parks. |
